For too long, receiving flowers has meant that I had to first experience pain from someone. Flowers have always been sent with an “Im sorry”. I’ve wondered how it would feel to receive flowers or a flower for absolutely no reason other than that someone wanted to make my day better.
I have decided that today I want to do just that, give an unapologetic flower and write a few words of encouragement, without the flowers coming from a place of apology for wrongdoing. I’m giving or leaving these for strangers.
I hope that you receive this flower and that you take it or pass it on to someone else with the knowledge that this is my sincere wish and hope to you that you feel special, loved, and cared about. That I’m rooting for you, and that this flower, although it isn’t much, is yours, and it comes to you unapologetically and freely.
